Loki`s reaction when people talk about Thor
Always makes me giggle.
Really? Because it makes me cry.
And this is what it’s all about. For all his intelligence, wit, trickery, and power, Loki can’t ever seem to step out of Thor’s shadow. The legend follows him everywhere, and now he is damn determined to make sure people remember who Loki is, just Loki. He will use every resource and talent he has to make a legendary impression on the people of Earth, because, honestly, he wants to be like Thor. He has to live up to that Asgardian heritage. But because there is no ancient war for him to step into and become a hero, he has to create his own and become the villain. Playing on the same side as Thor, playing the hero, will never get him recognized; he knows this. But maybe, just maybe, bending all his overlooked talents to unbridled destruction will make people finally recognize the enormity of what he is capable of.
